Welcome to Kensington Equestrian Center

Located less than 1 hour North of Boston, in New Hampshire's seacoast region, Kensington Equestrian Center is a full service hunter, jumper and equitation equestrian facility situated on 130 acres in beautiful Kensington, New Hampshire.

Whether you are a beginner, new to the exciting world of horses, or have been riding and showing for years, our focus is on helping you to achieve your equestrian goals. We are a full service facility offering lessons, training, boarding, sales and leases. In addition, Kensington Equestrian Center features a showing program especially geared to the serious rider seeking improvement. We offer individual programs for all levels of competition and attend local, as well as the "A" rated shows.

Our school horses and ponies are safe, friendly and experienced. Our facilities are designed to keep our riders, horses and ponies safe, comfortable and happy.

Families Welcome!

At Kensington Equestrian Center we realize that our riders' success isn't just the result of hard work but is also thanks to their families who support their dreams. For the "horse moms, dads, spouses and siblings" that spend hours driving, waiting, watching and hoping, we'd like you to feel as much at home at Kensington Equestrian Center as we do. We invite you to relax with a good book in our 1725 farm house or take advantage of our guest office with complimentary computer use and internet access. For younger siblings (that don't yet ride!) we welcome you to pass the time on our play equipment.

The Area

Kensington is a quintessential small New England town with rolling farmland and colonial homes. It has no giant retail stores or industrial businesses and remains true to its roots as a rural farming community. Acres of farmland dominate the town's landscape offering a wealth of seasonal produce.

Did You Know

Kensington is the site of a highly-publicized UFO sighting that occurred in September 3, 1965, referred to as the Exeter Incident. The 1966 New York Times Best Seller by John G. Fuller, a journalist and regular columnist for the Saturday Review, entitled "Incident at Exeter", chronicles the events. The Exeter Incident remains among the best-documented UFO sightings in UFO history.

Minutes from Kensington and the Kensington Equestrian Center is the town of Exeter. Exeter is one of the Granite State's oldest towns and is home to the prestigious Phillips Exeter Academy, a mainstay of the downtown area. Exeter features a pedestrian-friendly downtown with an array of shops, boutiques and eateries.
